Hello! Thanks for having a look at the web page, here is a little background story on me. I have over 20 years experience in sales and customer service, most of those have been in the automotive industry. I graduated from UCB in 2003 with a bachelors degree in business administration. I always had a passion for anything on wheels, trains, planes and automobiles, but never imagined myself a used car salesman. I always thought I would climb the corporate ladder or management in a large company. Like most people after graduation, I was not head hunted by a fortune 500 company, and like most people, life was going to be nothing like I planned. I always enjoyed sales and people, so through a series of life's challenges and the need to provide for my young family I answered a job listing for a car salesman at a new car dealership in the Halifax area. I took to it right away, and enjoyed the challenge and thrill of selling on commission. It's not for everyone, the stress of it can get to people and at times it gets to me, but the idea of being able to make more based on my effort was attractive. It was your typical car dealership, I was disappointed to learn that many of the stereotypes were true. I still worked hard to serve my customers and sell cars, but it did not take long for me to find a new opportunity. I started selling pre-owned cars at another more reputable independent car dealer. I enjoyed it very much, even though it was more hours than most people would even consider working, the rewards were worth it for a young man with a growing family. I had fun, worked with some great people, made some great friends and provided for my family. I spent over 8 years helping to grow this dealership from a small lot into one of the premier sellers in the area. I was promoted to sales manager after only a few years with the company. After witnessing and participating in the growth and success of that company, an opportunity to start my own dealership arose with the help of my Dad who owns Morrison Brothers Trucks and Equipment, a unique company he and my Uncle Bruce developed from scratch here in Moncton. It's been 4 years now and my job satisfaction is at an all time high. It's not easy, still working many hours but spending more time with Family (and playing a lot more golf!) plus the early success and continued loyalty from customers has been very positive and encouraging. I was so happy to have received instant support from the community around my location. I owe many thanks to the first customers who bought from an unknown start up used car dealer not from the area, not that any of them were disappointed, and since may have returned or sent people our direction. My name is on the building, and my name means something to me, it's my brand. I don't have millions of dollars to spend on marketing to convince people I do it right, I have to do it the old fashioned way, one deal, one customer at a time.
